Florence Amateur Radio Club supports three repeaters in the Florence SC area. The Club Callsign, W4ULH, is authorized by the Federal Communications Commission.

146.850 is located north of Florence,  the 146.970 (167.9hz) is in downtown Florence and the 444.000 repeater is south of downtown Florence.  

Two Meter Net on each Monday 8:30pm  146.850 Mhz (-600 kkz)

What is Ham radio?

Ham radio is the Amateur Radio Service as defined in part 97 of the FCC codes.
Per Part 97.3.4 it is: "A radiocommunication service for the purpose of self-training, intercommunication and technical investigations carried out by amateurs, that is, duly authorized persons interested in radio technique solely with a personal aim and without pecuniary interest."
