Asst. Emergency Coordinator, John Richardson, KE4SZT addresses the organizational meeting of the Marion County Amateur Radio Emergency Service Team on 10/06/2021 in Marion.
The meeting was well attended and presentations were made by Emergency Coordinator Jim Dedonis, KD4VH, and District EC, Donald Bryant KB4RR
We were discussing the bridge between professional communicators and volunteer radio operators .
We also discussed the next possible meeting date and are looking at the second Thursday in November.
At that time we will consider initiating a training net and possibly discuss go kits and preparing for the state exercise for next spring.
